God And Selflessness

Never have a selfishness in the thought of God.  If our duties are delayed, He will make us do even the impossible.  Then we seek after the cause.  When the cause is unknown we will be ready to any remedy, spending lots and even go to Kaasi to rectify the cause.

Peace of Mind

It is not enough that there is peace of mind in a home.  It should be passed down to society, from there to state, country, and to the whole world.  It is hard to acquire such a state.  But at least if our surroundings are provided with the peaceful atmosphere, then God is near to us.

Man & God

Only with the realization of the self, we can consider others as God.  When we weigh others in their riches, we fail to see the Atma.  To know the self, the power inside should grow.

Exercise and Energy

Our deeds increase our strength (spiritual strength).  It enhances with exercise.  When the body moves, the vein works.  When it works, the proper pumping of blood takes place and thereby attains more energy.  As a devotee of Muruga dances, taking the Kavadi, each of you should dance with the ecstatic mind.  Our actions are ruled by Goddess Saraswathi.  Acquiring knowledge and sharing it are all Divine.  If our words are good, then prosperity can be achieved.  If it moves otherwise, evils may result.  So make right deeds with the right words.

State of Being

The sun's brilliance is not the same is not the same in the morning, afternoon and evening.  It undergoes constant change.  Similarly, human beings too experience different state of being at different times.  We should  thank God for what we have and not display greed for more.  We should be grateful to God for what  we have. God invariably accepts such a prayer.  We must cultivate the desire to part with a small portion of our wealth  for the welfare of others who are not as fortunately placed as we are.  Our prayers to God should seek happiness through self-awakening rather than greed to acquire more.

Life is like "Mahabharatham"

Our life is like "Mahabharatham".   Each one of us are Arjuna.
We face certain conflicting situations in our life. Sometimes we wont be sure of what to do, whether to move forward or to stay back. Here, Bhagwan will guide us to the Right path & make us do what is Right!  Remember, in Mahabharatham, Arjuna was not sure about what to do in the war field, where he saw his family members in the opposition.  What Arjuna did was he totally surrendered himself to Lord Krishna & followed His advice.  Thus the Righteous war was won by the Pandavas.

Harness Your Desires

In one way or other we steal from others.  We enjoy what our ancestors earned hard.  At least once we might used what others have made. So never have the ego that 'I do everything with my ability'.   We enjoy, what we get from the nature.  We have great desire to reach higher goals by imitating others.  It is an emotion or in  other words, craziness or madness.  We can fulfil our need by slow hard work.  To our ability we can also have desires and wealth.  Know that an over heavy bale only result in the spraine of the shoulder.  So harness the desires.  It will give only less pains and less sins.

Life

Life is like a matchbox.  There is lots of sticks inside the box.  Each stick has chemicals or sulphur at the tip.  We do not light all the match sticks together; we use the sticks as and when the need arises. When we have matchsticks, we should not dip them in water.  We must keep them aside in a safe place.  If we need them later, we can use them.

In the same way, our lives are contained within the box. We must not dispose or dispense with anyone.  Everybody is needed.  Even if the matchstick is burnt, it still retains a use.  Sometimes we use the other end as tooth pick.  We must not therefore dispose of anything in a hurry,  This is God's way of telling us that everything serves a purpose.
